Western Tanager
TheWestern Tanager is a bird that originates in Central America and migrates through Utah in the spring, headed for tall trees in states to the North. We saw more birds than usual in 2019 because of the heavy snowfall this year which caused many of the birds to delay their trip north. Many were seen throughout May and one even in June.
