Table Salt Crystals

Some of the most fascinating close-up photos I ever took were extreme close-ups of grains of salt. In preparation for this, I poured some table salt out of a shaker on to some green cloth. Below is a sequence of photos I took showing how I could move in closer and closer by varying the amount and type of equipment mounted on the Alpa camera. The last two images were taken of salt sitting on my Leica lens cap.
