Site 28

Site 28 is about 2 miles from the Argyle Canyon road and is just a short walk from site 27. This site, along with sites 26, 27, and 29 are very close together and there are numerous petroglyph panels here over a short stretch of the cliff side as the road goes around the counterclockwise curve across from Harmon Canyon. I will try to organize my photos accordingly but may easily put some panels in the wrong site number. The figure just below on the left is the one that was diagrammed in the Spangler book. On the right of it is another panel I discovered in the immediate vicinity. At the bottom are a vertical from the road and another panel that I think might also belong to site 28 but I cannot be certain because it is a bit farther from the others (left or west of them). I have not included a vertical from the road at the top here because the first panel (shown in the book) is almost directly below the Coyote Placing The Stars panel and the viewer can examine the vertical I took there to see where these panels are located, although they will be a bit to the right (east) and nearly directly below the Coyote. And they are all, except for the bottommost one, only about 10 feet from the road.

This panel has been vandalized, of course. It is just to the right of the one at the top on the left and in the Spangler book.
This panel is hard to see in bright light and has figures that are badly eroded.
