Site 12

Site 12 is the next location in Nine Mile Canyon with significant rock art and is about 7.7 miles east of the Minnie Maud bridge. This site is sometimes called the 'Long Necked Sheep' site because it contains sheep with especially long necks, something that we believe was not intended to represent real animals but simply an artistic style. The panel is high above the road and is most easily seen with binoculars.
