Alpa Outfit

Not long after I acquired my Leica M3, I realized that I was going to need a reflex camera to do some of the kinds of imaging that I wanted to do and so I bought an Alpa 6C from a small camera shop in Minneapolis on time payments. At that time, the Alpa, made in Switzerland, was considered to be the best reflex 35mm camera in the world and I always wanted the best. Over the next 4 years, I added a number of lenses, all used, a bellows attachment, and an extension tube set. Unfortunately, I was forced to sell the entire outfit in the early 1960's due to financial hardships. This picture was taken with my Leica, which I manged to hang on to.
