M92

M92 is, like its neighbor M13, visible to the naked eye in a dark sky, although it shines a bit less brightly. Lying about the same distance from Earth or perhaps just a bit more (about 26,000 light years), it spans a little less in diameter (its 14.0' angular extension corresponds to a true diameter of 109 light years), fills a smaller volume of space, and likely contains fewer stars (may have a mass of up to 330,000 suns), but still provides a very nice sight in larger telescopes.
